Cheech's History

Transition Recovery Facility (Cheech's House) is named in loving memory of Charles L. "Cheech" Litman who passed away in Pittsburgh, PA in 2001.

Cheech was revered by his community for his total willingness to assist people in need; he helped countless people from all walks of life. He always went the extra mile to share his experience, strength, and hope. He was loyal to friends and causes for life.

Cheech is missed dearly by all who knew him. Thank you to his family and friends for helping create a legacy of kindness, strength and hope in Transition.

The education program and classroom have been gratefully dedicated in memory of Mr. Charles M. Morris
